For the first time since its inception in 2016, the PSL has ditched the draft system for a Player Auction, which took place on February 11 at the Lahore Expo Centre.

  • Most Expensive Player: Pacer Naseem Shah shattered records, becoming the highest-paid player in PSL history after being bought by the new Team Rawalpindi for Rs. 8.65 Crore.
  • Top Overseas Pick: New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell became the highest-paid foreign player, also joining Rawalpindi for Rs. 8.05 Crore.
